Further changes to the look of this site
Hi...
This thread is to do 2 things:
1. Help designers who we are talking to about their possibly doing work on this site understand our needs - so they can quote for the work.
2. Gather in any other thoughts and ideas people have for how you think the site should look!
If you are a developer interested in this work, please feel free to post here with your thoughts and/or email me on andrew at andrewmiles dot com with a quotation and time-frame. Please do include examples of your previous work on the Ning platform.

MUST HAVES.
These are the changes we would like to make quickly:
Title Language Changes
- Make the all Sub-headings of each section match the Tab-titles. There is considerable variation at the moment (the Idea exchange tab leads to a heading called Forums or Discussions, etc).
--- Whenever we have a title of some kind, we want the word 'discussion' to be replaced with the word ‘Idea’ throughout the site – we should no longer have discussions – just ideas and comments
--- ‘Discussion forums’ should become ‘idea exchange’ throughout the site
--- 'Blog' should become Dad Life throughout the site, – using the phrase ‘Dad Life posts’ where necessary)

WOULD LIKE TO HAVES
These changes we want if not too difficult/expensive/time-consuming to implement.
- On the 'green dashboard', it would be ideal to have 'Welcome [NAME]! Here are some things you can do right now!
- We would like slightly different options to appear in that Green Dashboard: ‘Add an Idea’ / ‘Invite friends’ / ‘Dad Life posts’ (or something similar) / ‘Edit Your Profile’
- On the blog pages, currently we have ‘latest’, ‘most popular’, ‘topics by tag’ and ‘archives’ feeders – can we do something similar in the forums (soon to be called Idea Exchange), or is it a limitation of the forums?
