RAISING GIRLS

The comments made by BF covered in the press this week about us raising a generation of Barbie Girls who wanted to be rich and famous was really unhelpful. There are loads of girls of all ages doing fantastic stuff and putting lots back into the community. When it comes to raising girls - and all children for that matter - great positive female role models are powerful and vital. It's no wonder our young people have such a challenging time because there is often so much negative pr about them. It's not surprising they begin to believe it about themselves. Let's see lots more press coverage about brilliant young people - not barbies.
