Great Parent Line

Greetings All.. I have just discovered this website and signed up. I am very supportive of Dad's type/parenting discussions

This is especially topical as last night .. I had separate conflicts with my 10 year old son and 13 year old daughter.. and concluded I needed to find some support. I googled 'parent support' and it came up with this website

With a number to call: at 11.30pm at night I had an amazing and very helpful conversation with Parent Line advisor who was a mother herself .. and who made some extremely helpful suggestions and listened with the skills of a therapist.. I cannot recommend this enough

Also to add that Parenting to me as a subject - is a very important one.. being a Dad in this day and age and getting the right balance between flexible authority and male values etc... is a minefield for many dads.. me included
