Dads Idea Exchange

I know it's very Radio 4 and all that, but all our kids (who are 4, 8 and 10) love "I'm sorry I Haven't a Clue" the classic 'antidote to panel games' radio show. There are loads of CD's to choose from to keep them amused for hours (get them from the BBC shop or Amazon, etc).

I can't really put my finger on what it is that they like - lots of the jokes are over their heads, but our kids love it so much they know nearly every line off by heart. I guess it's something about adults behaving stupidly that strikes a chord - 'swannee kazoo' and 'one song to the tune of another' are firm favourites, but just the audience laughter is infectious enough.

So much better than the millionth rendition of "the wheels on the bus" or latest "20 Kids Songs to Drive You Insane" CD. I bet you'll love it too!

Don't forget you can also get audio CD's from your local library. Just make sure that you don't inadvertently rip them to your iPOD before returning them.
