Make a travel photo album

Make up a small album of photos for the kids to take with them on the journey. Quirky photos, all the different family members, memorable occasions, pets, funny moments, fancy dress, and so on. For younger kids, it may come down just to identifying who everyone is in the photos, but we've found older children love talking about 'remember when's...?' You'll probably be surprised by what they remember - normally it's very different from the things we adults remember.

Great for long waits in airports, plane, coach, car journeys - anywhere where space is limited or the kids will need to sit down for a long time.
